VOLUNTEER
Weekend Activities
We are looking for volunteers to tutor children grades K-12 in primarily English, Korean, or math. Any athletes that are proficient in basketball, soccer, badminton, or ping pong. Volunteers who have intermediate skills in art, piano/keyboard, drums, guitar, and traditional Korean instruments (drums) are also wanted.
Helping the Community
We accept clean and lightly used articles of clothing, including shirts, pants, and skirts of any length, as well as new underwear, bras, shoes, and socks. We are always looking for people who can help us make care packages and distribute them to those in need at Skid Row, Los Angeles. People can also donate unexpired and unopened packages of bread, mayonnaise, ham, cheese, jam, chips, or bottled water.
Supporting the Elderly
We are in need of volunteers proficient in both Korean and English to help Korean elders translate and fill out taxes, contracts, leases, and forms. Lawyers or those who have legal experience are greatly appreciated to help with these forms. Outside of this, we are looking for people who have experience troubleshooting different types of electronic devices and/or teaching the elderly how to do basic tasks on their devices. We are also looking for people who can provide company for the elderly or can help them with physically demanding errands.
